Bernie Sanders calls out Democrat hypocrisy.

sanders didn't call out democrat hypocrisy. he said he didn't agree with part of biden's bill.

here's sanders' entire take on the topic;
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I–Vt.) is correct to point out, as he did in an interview with Axios this week, that the SALT cap creates a serious optics problem for Democrats. Sanders says he will oppose Schumer's effort to attach the SALT cap repeal to the transportation bill because "it sends a terrible, terrible message when you have Republicans telling us that this is a tax break for the rich."

hardly a liz cheney situation. ;)

"The Democrats over the years have become more and more of a corporate party and have turned their backs on the working class of this country," he said. "You're an average white worker in America, for example, what have you seen the Democrats do to stand with you?

So who is in bed and supported by the giant tech oligarchs?

So, again he is indirectly calling hypocrite since the Democrats purport to be the party of the little guy.

(From the Axios source.)

then the entire premise of your thread is a massive exaggeration by you if not an outright lie.

it went from "calls out democrat hypocrisy" to "...indirectly..."

He's calling out the party of corporatism.

Are they the party of the little guy, or the party of the rich?

You just don't want to see the underlying truth - the rich support the Democrats
and the Democrats are willing to reward them for it, so who makes up the lost
tax revenue if its not the little guy? But that's not hypocrisy, now it it?

It just the Democrats lying to us. Right?

in the past 2 years, who have given tax breaks and who have received tax breaks?

Democrats with rich constituents want to repeal SALT caps...

Helping the rich to get richer and widen the wealth gap.

Now how many of you are with the grumpy old Socialist on this issue?

I do agree with him about what it actually does and I do agree that it's bullshit that needs to go.

But not for the same reasons.

I don't give two pumps of rat shit about inequity.

For me the reason is that the people who live in high tax states? NEED TO PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE.

The people of their respective states need to feel the full weight and wrath of the state government they voted for and no other state should.

A large if not the primary reason we even have states is so that people who want to live differently? Can.

Part of that is not forcing people in other states to subsidize your states policies.

Bottom line here is a true communist is in charge of the Senate Budget Committee.

Oh look! Our own DancesWithFalsehoods has found yet another wedge issue for Democrats!

"Let's you and him fight!"

Tee hee....passive aggressiveness at its finest!
