Biden takes a major step to cripple "American Gestapo"

It's no secret that under the former guy's one term regime, the Homeland security force known as ICE morphed into an American Gestapo, with a new mission: "Keep those Hispanics in their place". They conducted terroristic sweeps of areas in America where Spanish is primarily spoken. As the former guy's personal goon squad, they were favorites of White Nationalists and their Semi-White Nationalist Auxilliary. ICE's unofficial motto was "We never met a Hispanic we couldn't harass".

President Joe Biden took a major step towards reigning in this nominal law enforcement entity that seemingly rejected any oversight: he nominated an eminently qualified Hispanic man, former Harris County (Houston) sheriff Ed Gozalez as the new head of ICE. Gonzalez first gained prominence years ago for forbidding Houston officers to assist the American Gestapo on their periodic "terror sweeps" through Houston.

Gonzalez is a perfect fit for the troubled agency. He is a reformer who gets results. He will refocus the agency back to their original mission, and stop them form functioning as a Republican gestapo.

They've got a new boss, who might give them a shiny new name, and everyone will join hands and cry "success" - and no one will watch the numbers, as they continue to arrest and deport - which is the mission congress gave them.
