Meanwhile, over 98 percent of people who get the China virus recover, the overwhelming majority who die from are old (over 65) people like me, and places with no mask rules do just as well or better on the China virus as state's with tough rules, and much, much better in terms of mental health and economy.

Vaccines work by activating one’s immune system. It takes a couple of weeks after a vaccine for an immune system to be fully armored against infections.

First and only time I've ever agreed with any of the various Dmitri handles.
Which makes me wonder where, exactly, the flawed logic is here.
But yeah, it is a problem with mixed messaging. Either the vaccines are effective or they aren't.

If they are effective, then fully vaccinated people shouldn't have to wear masks or avoid crowds.
Although there is some evidence that even fully vaccinated people can still be asymptomatic carriers (i.e. the virus won't make THEM sick, but they can still carry it and spread it to others.) If this is true, then they still need to work on the messaging. Otherwise, people will come to the conclusion above; what's the point of getting vaccinated if it doesn't actually help stop the virus?
