Oh golly...I keep looking in the constitution for where it says the church has the authority to dictate to the secular authorities about its policies concerning anything....I can't seem to find that clause or article or amendment anywhere.

For some reason a large portion of the population are literally willing to go to war to defend the church from taxation, despite the known harm the church has caused society.

I could care less if the church exists, but the harm they do vs the good they do is a wash at best, so their tax exempt status is not justified IMHO. Their attempt to appoint themselves the defacto authority on abortion in America is beyond the pale. It's "borderline" crazy.
