you know, the ugly shoes that were popular years ago? one of the news stories i saw tonight said that there has been a surge in sales of crocs.

i bought a pair years ago, so long ago that you had to special order them from the factory. they were one of the most uncomfortable pairs of shoes i've ever owned. i wore them twice and threw them in the closet, which is where they have remained.

maybe i can put them on ebay as original vintage if they are so popular again.

tho i question what it says about society if they're being revived.

Makes sense: they were the perfect shoes for COVID times. Easy on and off & no one sees you wearing them.

Don't knock crocs.

If men wear them with white socks and shorts, they are a 99% effective form of birth control.

They are bit like women, they need to be broken in over a period of time. That way they can be quite comfortable.

I have a pair of 'Grinch' slippers (Christmas specials) which are downright dangerous, which trumps a bit of discomfort, In which i have nearly had several serious accidents.

They're a statement piece. Because lord knows they aren't worn for style.

Look at me I wear crocs! Lol

Crocs has tried to do some serious rebranding. I complimented a friend on her sandals and apparently they were Crocs. Would have never guessed. They are also trying to compete with Dansko by offering shoes typically worn by medical professionals but at a third of the cost.

Honestly, I’m not buying they hold up to Dansko clogs. I still have my first leather pair from 10 years ago. And after all this surgery, there will be NO cheap footwear to ruin it all again.

Love my crocs. I originally did find them to be some of the ugliest shoes ever made. I actually ended up buying a pair of their sandals and they were very comfortable and still have those. I then got gifted a pair of the standard crocs and they are great when I just want to throw something on to run somewhere quick, go outside, or need a quick shoe.

That's true. I haven't shaved my legs since March 23rd 2020.

I haven’t been able to shave my right leg below the knee since March 30 this year and I’m terrified.

We agreed to look into laser hair removal after the cast comes off ;)

Mi esposa has had to wear a cast several times over the years because of surgery to her feet/ankle. It wasn't that bad even after the last one that took 12 weeks before it came off for good.

It's because they are comfortable and slip on. My son solved the winter problem and got a pair that had a plush lining.:)

My daughter plays softball and loves them.. they are must have for any girl on the softball field.
