I am not excusing the cop at all, the time he gave the kid between drop it and bang was what, a microsecond? Cop guilty, period.

Did you hear the cop say 'drop it' then find the gun at 5:35 or so?

I don't know about riots, there seems to be no interest or caring about all the murders there, and less reaction than that when it isn't a black victim.

There seems to be an ability of many law enforcement to switch roles from shooter to medic. The other cops are trying to encourage the victim to hold on.

As for not knowing where the shot landed, the victim was wearing a dark shirt, which would obscure the shot site.

So we're establishing that the suspect was given less than a second to comply with a "lawful order".

I point out they found a gun on the scene, which might count for the cop's adrenaline, though not excusing him in any way. I also make an observation on the reactions regarding race of victim, neutrally, and that is what you consider hate speech?


The lack of any time to follow an order before being fired upon is indeed criminal, in my opinion.
