For my wife and I, it is mostly about being out and about, such as out for a date (pre-covid), and maybe in the bedroom as a tease. She loves her heels and lives in them pretty much, but in bed high heels do not work that well because like you said, other that some glimpses, they are hard to see, and for her, those stiletto's get caught up in the linen pretty easily.

If you look at most videos, the ladies start with them on, but they come off pretty quick,

I am the same way with white high heels; I guess them being hit or miss with me, although i like this...

This is more of a question than a statement, but I wonder if white lacks luster for us sometimes because it is so often seen at weddings?

For me, I cannot define the reason why in words so much, but in an instant I can see the women that love to wear heels, and those that feel obligated too; like you often see at a wedding.

Sage words as always... I felt the same way... But lately I feel it's like that old adage (I don't know the exact wording); when a woman looks so amazing (her confidence, poise, sass), she could wear a garbage bag and still look hot.

I'm starting to reevaluate the colors and finishes I generally dislike. If a woman's feet and legs are so hot, and butter would melt, then the heels (whatever finish or color they are) she's wearing make her look smokin' hot IMHO.

Although I'll admit I disconnect from that thought process with heels like this...

Well you have to keep in mind how the creative arts work. Those kinds of heels are for the runway, and so they need to be bold, fresh and unique. But in everyday life, not so much.

This is where most people get the creative arts wrong. They say "my wife would never wear heels like that", and the answer is no, she wouldn't, but the same people do not look at a concept car at the Detroit Auto Show as being a car your wife would drive to work either, so why would you hold the heels to the same standard?

It is concept for a reason.

Just as with a concept car, the automakers will evacuate what new lines and features is marketable in a new and different way, but cut out the fanciful. High heel makers (and clothing as well) do the same thing for clothing and heels that hit the runway.

I am not saying we must like the heels depicted: not at all... but we should appreciate the process in which new and fanciful is produced, otherwise the world would be a dull place.

Oh well...since you mention garbage bags, in a high heeled shoe thread, what do you think of these God-Awful garbage bag high heels.

Just take an anti-nausea pill before opening the link...they are UGLY!
