Former U.S. Navy Seal to take leave from Congress after eye surgery

U.S. Representative Dan Crenshaw, a former Navy Seal who lost his right eye in an explosion in Afghanistan, said on Saturday he will take a month-long leave of absence from Congress after emergency surgery for a detaching retina in his other eye.


It sucks and all to get hurt and lose a part, but that doesn't excuse him being an asshole.

Articles say he's effectively blind for the time being. Which I'm sure sucks majorly and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But this asswipe has been blinded by orange rage for so long, he has basically refused to see reason. Will this change him? Better? Worse?

Just today I learned that Champakian is far, far less capable than we/I have given him credit for despite his former “artistic” posting style. So in your future interactions, please type slow and if possible use one or two syllable words and keep the sentences short. Sad, but I admire his pluck!
