Being an insomniac, I know how you feel. When I addressed a doctor, he prescribed me sleeping pills. And they worked. But I checked the info about them on the Canada Drugs site, it turned out they could be taken only for a short period of time. That's why I started doing yoga and workouts. Also, I replaced gadgets before bed with books, reading really helps me to fall asleep faster.

I have my bouts of insomnia, but I refuse to take medication for it since the effects of the medication are often worse than the insomnia itself. It's been worse being in the cast with limited mobility. I'm used to getting in three long walks a day with dog, and that doesn't include if I have a client's dog to walk.

Perhaps this discussion yesterday broke my insomnia cycle...almost 12 straight hours of sleep. I felt a bit “sleep drunk” this morning until J made coffee.
Back in the day I had the cutest little GS 500. It was red with pink and light blue streaks. No, not the most expensive or flashiest bike, but it was mine and it was perfect. J is a Harley guy and sold his right before major surgery a couple years ago - when the outcome was unknown. We talk about getting motorcycles again. But I’d prefer a camper first.
