Its not that popular here because this site allows 'real' incest stories. PI is popular on amazon and other venues that won't sell full out incest stories.

That's not especially popular here, but it's been said over and over; write it if you want, and you'll find the readers.

My understanding is the real arbitrators of morality in the United States are credit card companies and banks, and a lot of them don't want their services used for incest porn. So Amazon and porn video companies push psuedo incest to make the those companies happy. If Amazon and porn video companies let the customers dictate what they supplied, you'd see the same ratio of "real" incest to psuedo-incest there as you see here.

They used to, when Amazon and other platforms allowed 'real' incest books, they sold like wildfire, then they caved to the moral majority who traditionally spend squat.
But amazon doesn't need the money
For years Barnes and Noble continued to sell it, and rake it in on the Nook platform...until their new family values CEO banned not only incest but other erotic material, non con, some BDSM etc...a company that's been on the brink of bankruptcy for years tossed away a lot of money to look 'moral'
The thing is-especially for amazon-all that's needed is an adult kindle store. It would work like Ebay's adult verification to see x-rated auctions, you need a separate log in to prove its you and not your kid browsing...but why do that? Instead they say in their TOS they don't allow pornography but have hundreds of thousands of erotic titles, not to mention sex toys, movies....
