Vice President Kamala Harris*is facing a backlash after laughing when a reporter asked if she planned to visit the southern border amid the migrant crisis.

"Kamala Harris laughs at a reporter who asked her if she has plans to visit the border. Don’t believe this administration when they say they are serious about solving this crisis," Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

We tried to go to Canada this summer so we could visit Nova Scotia. My husband has dual citizenship in Italy and we also tried to schedule a visit there but even with that, we would need two weeks of quarantine before allowed in even though we are both vaccinated. Their border, like Canada, is locked tight and no one is allowed in for any reason due to COVID. So here we are in a middle of a pandemic and most countries, let alone most continents, are closed to visitors. That alone should make us want to seal our border. So exactly are we trying to accomplish by letting in thousands of unknown people to the US? Where is the public health crisis Biden insists is still here and maybe, just maybe, we can enjoy a burger in our back yard by July 4th but only with small groups. So again, why are we leading the world in exposing our citizens to people that are not from our country to COVID yet we must still be locked down, wear masks just to perhaps enjoy a backyard celebration 3 months from now.

Harris couldn't get anyone in CA. to vote for her when she was running for the party as President. And our elections are as crooked as you can get. She won as Senator because of a ruling that took away voting rights in CA and her only opponent was another leftist who got elected by stuffing the ballot box and ran for senator so no other party would have any candidates.
