I mean seriously...my brackets are so fucked up. I think it is good for the sport having so many upsets...but I am wondering if those that rank the teams have a fucking clue what they are talking about?

The answer is no. I think at tournament level, on any given night, each team has a chance to get a win. Go Hawks....Bye Bye Illini. We'll see tomorrow.

I think Covid issues scrambled everything up.

I think that Covid did have a huge impact on all of the programs in that it somewhat
created a framework that brought teams closer together especially seeing how
March Madness was cancelled last year and how Covid protocols did things
like knocking Kansas out of the Big 12 tournament which means that
it was harder to measure where the conference was ranking-wise.
Most years, the rankings do tend to make some sense...

On a positive note, everyone's bracket is screwed up. It is just not the big name schools getting the athletic players so sometimes it is just a matter of a team coming together at the right time. The Big 10 is certainly not looking like they deserved the lofty rankings.
