Deplorables: what does your church say about how to deal w/non-Deplorables?

Interesting to note that Evangelical church leaders who supported Trump are dropping like flies left and right. Hope the mood hits Franklin Graham.

I'm a Roman Catholic. My faith tells me that we are all brothers and sisters created in the image and likeness of God. We believe that God loves everyone. We believe we have a sinful nature and we are in constant need of redemption through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

That's nice. You didn't answer the question, though.

Although I suppose your dodging it does reveal something - that's a type of answer. :rose:

Geez, you're dense. I won't use your infantile labels, but when interacting with other people, I try to follow Jesus' directive "Love one another as I have loved you." But in your case...LOL

You're just lying, because following Jesus does NOT lead to Donald Trump or much of anything else you espouse on this board. That's just the truth.

Tell me what politician following Jesus does lead to? Joe Biden? Nancy Pelosi? Jesus was aware of the difference. "Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and give unto God that which is God's"

'Jesus' is fictional.

Some doink in AZ says it's the quality of votes that matter. Maybe the first test is to determine if a potential voter can discern fiction from reality.

Interestingly, I saw this headline a few minutes before I saw this thread:

Pastors are leaving their congregation after losing their churchgoers to QAnon

Hundreds of pastors are decrying Christian nationalism as conspiracy theories consume churchgoers. Insider spoke to two pastors who tried to fight it.

This is "end stage" militant Christianity, the pseudoreligion promoted by Trump. Personal Salvation with a side order of "Fuck the poor".

This country is either set up for the great downfall that is expected, or a heck of a revival.

Looking at current times and events ...I think it is even money which way it will go...

We are not running this show lest we forget that.

The proper thing to do for Deplorable people like Rory is to pray that God's will be done in that matter and Quickly.

Since when do 'spiritual' and 'honesty' go together?

'Spiritual' is based on fantasy and falsehoods.
