I only know one voting member of the Recording Academy really well; i dont think he’s a racist.

But i find it hard to understand why The Weeknd got zero nominations this year.

Anything started by, funded by and lorded over by white people is going to be a racist endeavor.
And it ain't about who looks good or who has talent, it isn't about who can or cannot sing its about who can ya get to say nice things about you, so that others want to spend their money to hear what ya sayin...

The Recording Academy is an American organization, so the xenophobia charge you’re making seems odd... maybe you could clarify.

I usually don't care, but I spent some times reading a few reviews
and when it comes to most of the artists -- Who are these people???

But the one word that dominated the reviews was "diversity."
In other words, it seems that talent takes a second place to optics
and the frantic need to kowtow to cancel culture and avoid the "label" Racist.

It also makes it seem like the reviewers were afraid to write anything
that would raise the ire of the SJW Woke "hit" Mob...

My daughter LOVES Jhené. She loves the Jhené album.

I love Taylor Swift. I think she's a brilliant songwriter and always have. Did she deserve Album of the Year? I'm not sure. I am a huge fan of Dua Lipa. Who, I might add, performed here in Sydney at Mardi Gras March 2020.

Do I think Beyonce should have won best video for Single Ladies? 100% yes. Do I think she was ripped off? Yes.

Are the Grammys racist? I don't know. I don't know enough about who judges the awards to form an opinion on that. As a musician? Taylor is one of the greatest songwriters of our time. My opinion only, of course.

The award recipients and nominees seemed quite diverse to me, but a number of the losers and un-nominated artists are alleging racism.

Maybe that's just the way it is now...sore losers and squeaky wheels get to hijack any agenda.

Beyonce threaded the needle quite nicely...she refused to perform, but showed up to collect her awards. How considerate!
