Republican Rep. Madison Cawthorn is facing allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct by several women who say he put them in uncomfortable situations when he was a college student, with the former classmates detailing to CNN on Monday how the rising star of the conservative right would use "fun" drives as a way to make unwanted advances on them.

Allegations of sexual misconduct by Cawthorn, who at age 25 is the youngest member of Congress, have followed him since he launched his run for North Carolina's 11th Congressional District. But the claims have gained renewed attention as the freshman congressman's popularity has steadily increased in some Republican corners following his move earlier this year to Washington, where he has closely aligned himself with some of his far-right colleagues and former President Donald Trump's lie that the November election was illegitimate.

Interesting monsters...

Apparently being hit on and harassed by Cawthorn. Doesn't sound much fun for anyone else.

I do not support calls to "Remove him from office". If he choses to resign, that's fine, but I wouldn't encourage it. This person represents the people who voted him into the office. I wanted him out from the day he was elected because I correctly determined that he was no good, so my opinion is irrelevant for these purposes. This man is the people's choice. They deserve him. Their opinion matters now. What do they think? What does Bobby DiNiro, Rosie from the block, Billy Crystal, Billy Joel have to say? I'm interested in their input on this matter. They lavished completely unwarranted praise on this loser, and now the chickens have come home to roost. Let's hear it now.

So Cuomo should not be removed as well. Nor should he be encouraged to resign.

It really shouldn't be that easy. Republicans now days blow their argument out of the water with their own words.

Once again Ram one 45 missed tha point of the thread topic.

The clueless moron obviously thinks Cuomo was the central subject of the post, not Madison Cawthorn.

What can you expect from someone who turns a blind eye to Trump's admitted sexual assaults and continues to carry water for a criminal.

lets see

a college kid hiiting on girls

vs

a person in position of power abusing that power against his employees and others

hmmmm

A college kid alone in a car with you, being creepy and not just expressing an interest can very much be a situation of fear and unequal power. you face at best the prospect of being left somewhere in the middle of nowhere. many colleges are isolated. you face a lot worse, being down some deserted road with a guy twice your size.
