I think many do both and it is fine. My husband and I are very active in our church, and I think we are good christians. But we look at porn often as well. I don't think there is a problem.

Sounds like you just need to find a different religion.

The other option is to look at what you are doing as normal and ok. God gave you the means to masturbate, it's not hurting anyone as long as you haven't made any commitments to another that you would stop, so have at it. Maybe once it's normal to you, it might not be as interesting.
