Ted actually has the perfect answer for the direction of his state and for the REPUBLICAN agenda...

When the going gets tough, fly off to some other place that is sunny and warm if you can afford it. If you can't, well no doubt that is because your lazy and shiftless and deserve what you get.

Pictures of him are circulating and no doubt they will come in handy when he decides to run again in 2024.

He will be one of the Sons of Repubicant's that will be running for President in four years. He is just like trump only with less, "billions."

What we've seen out of Texas the last several days, from Cruz and from the entirety of state government, is what happens when elected leaders treat their reelection as a formality. Cruz is not worried about 2024 and he's probably correct to feel that way.
 
BTW, anyone who thought it was the biggest scandal in the world that Obama liked brown mustard or that Nancy Pelosi bought some craft ice cream might want to sit this one out.

So, organized after the Texas snow-in.

Blames his kids (12, 10 years - also accompanied by their mother).

For going to Mexico because Texas was just too shitty.

To be fair, Texas voters in 2018 couldn't possibly have been unaware of how Cruz hates government and doesn't want it to work. They got exactly what they voted for. I do feel bad for the 48% of them who voted for Beto, but hey, he actually is doing his part now.
