Great college career...Heisman winner, BCS champ, but his style of play wasn’t suited for the NFL. But just getting drafted is a dream 99.9999% of college players never sniff. Wasn’t good enough to stick, but did have his moments. In 2011, he became the starter for the 1-4 Broncos and took them to the playoffs. Raider fans and Steeler fans remember that season, and not in a fond way. Lotta Heisman winners were NFL busts. He was one of them, but he gave it his best shot. Not sure why you feel the need to throw shade on the guy.

Nah. I’m not triggered, just a football fan. Respect guys that give it their all. Your post is kinda weird. It’s not like his stint in the nfl was a Johnny Manziel or Jamarcus Russell type situation.

Tebow was a very good athlete. He was a better football player than a baseball player, but you can't fault his effort trying in either sport at the professional level. He rose erractically through the minors, but once the word got out that he couldn't hit major-league sliders, he was done. He hit his ceiling just shy of the major league threshold. His hit rate against major league fastballs was a respectable .260, but he struggled to hit .040 against sliders. A 96% failure rate is BoBo territory.

I have a friend who's grand daughter goes to Tebow's functions in her area. RoryN is a world class ass.
The animus towards him from some quarters I suspect is mainly because on the face of it, on one level he exudes the classic image of the all American hero - one of the symptoms of which is being white. This triggers people like RoryN. Good.

I like the dude. Very average or below average pro athlete but he chased his dream and wasn't a huge dickhead doing it.
I know. He appears to be a genuinely good guy. Some people just have hateful hearts. It's very sad.

He had a .223 average in triple A ball. Better than anyone here could do for sure but nothing thats gonna get you moved up.
