I'm trying to figure out how this could make sense, or if it's even possible.

Basically, 'Tawney' is one of those always from birth spolied rotten brats. Nobody ever said no to her. Not her parents or anyone else. She's always gotten what she wants, has never failed in anything. Top grades, star cheerleader, homecoming and prom queen, class president, parents gave her a 'Vette on her 18th, the whole nine yards.

One day while she's out spending money she never earned, she sees this guy. He's nothing special, no where near her normal universe and completely out of her social class and sphere. But there's something about him that catches her eye. Maybe he reminds her of somebody else, the author would have to explore that. She, for whatever reason, decides she wants him.

BUT, he's not interested. Maybe married, or down on his luck, maybe just in a really, really bad mood. She approaches and makes her initial play. He scoffs and walks off. She follows, persistently. He says no, and moves on. She's determined he will submit because .... well, simply because no one has ever said No, and she's not willing to accept it this time either.

What happens next?

Is she supposed to be an unsympathetic character who eventually gets her comeuppance? If so, I would have her making more and more urgent demands on the fellow, who keeps rejecting her, and making her madder and madder. Eventually she does something so heinous that he decides it is time to teach her a lesson. He agrees to go on a date with her, but it turns out he really abducts her and puts her through a series of humiliating experiences, which eventually makes her realize that she is being a cunt and needs to nicen up a bit. And they live HEA.

Or is she supposed to be a sympathetic character, who has lived a charmed life but never turned into a bitch by it? In that case, I would focus on her frustration and her more and more clever schemes to try and get the fellow to agree to go out with her. Maybe eventually she disguises herself as someone else (someone more his "type") and tricks him into a date, where he eventually finds out that she isn't so horrible after all.

It kind of reminds me of a story of mine where a girl wants desperately to have sex with her father, but he thinks incest is evil, so she has a friend seduce him and then switches places in the dark.

That's part of the conundrum. I don't know which way to go to make it more believable (as if stories here really need to be believable).

Something similar ..... in 'Married With Children', Bud's cousin brings his girlfriend over to visit Bud for 'safekeeping' because he knows Bud wouldn't dare do the wrong thing ... again.

But once the cousin leaves, the girl can't figure out why Bud is shying away. She gets almost offended and starts asking 'Why aren't you looking at me?'

She gets upset and pours it on even more. Now of course horndog Bud (of age in this episode) eventually gives in, but the character in this story might not. Maybe he can't ... you know .. war injury or whatever. Or he doesn't swing that way.

I wouldn't worry about which is more believable. Just which is more fun.

And your plot bunny about the war injury - I never realized that "The Sun Also Rises" could be spun into a Lit story without too much trouble!

Well, if it was real life and was happening to me, since I'm asexual and mostly aromantic, I would get pretty annoyed at this woman for fallowing me around so often and trying to pressure me so much into being with her. Of course, if it got to the point where she was stalking me I would call the cops.

Of course, I'm guessing that since this is a sex story though you want the sex to happen at some point. Maybe to make it comedic and sexy said guy(who is now asexual in my head cannon) hires a sexy woman sex worker to flirt with the girl trying to flirt with him. Kind of, how do you like it when someone flirts with you that you aren't interested in! Way of getting a petty revenge and then said flirty girl has sex with the sex worker cause they misunderstood what was suggested.

That's one option that came to mind.

Consider some of the crap in the news. The guy begins to think she might complain to the cops that he did something, tried to force her into something against her will. That it was him pursuing her.

Until they look at the security camera footage.

I once had/knew the "hot chick who wouldn't take no for an answer"

They do exist

Why would a guy tell her no?
  • He's an enemy agent, instructed not to fuck the civilians.
  • He's stealthily ultra-rich, and buys women unlike her.
  • He's gay or asexual or a confirmed celibate.
  • He's in a strong relationship already.
  • Service injury, military or civilian.
Easy way: She's just not his type. He prefers sheep.

...

agreed.

The suspension of disbelief threshold on Lit is very writer friendly.

Or, as the opening line of BuckyDuckman's new story Amy's College Pussy so clearly puts it:

"Every porn story sounds impossible until it happens to you and then no one will ever believe you "

As Bucky is one of Lit's top writers, if you don't take my word, read his.

He's very married, or faithfully engaged. resisting temptation adds drama.
