Those are among the words the weather and news services are using today.

I've got another word for them.

February.

The new world woke way of thinking: If it didn't happen already this morning, they can't remember it ever happening before.

Yeah, I've seen negative wind chills before, but that was upstate New York, not 1,500 miles south west from there. It's the coldest I've seen here. Missed negative temps last night by a couple of degrees. 50 degrees off our average high for the day, so yeah, kind of unusual.

Hmm... kind of a change from the last 10 winters here in Houston.

We got an inch of snow last night and it's still only 21 degrees out and going down.

Last 10 winter here it has always been above 55 degrees during FEB.

Last time we had weather like this, it was January and the city shut down 2-3 days.

So yeah, it is unprecedented for us to get 10 inches of snow in the FIRST wave. Second wave still going

Crazy how the weather is different all over.

Our high temp today was 1 degree below our record low for Feb 15.

The solution to weather problems...

Weather problems are caused by freedom. The solution is socialism.

(Not really. Just being sarcastic about the global warming hoax they use to gain political power.):D

You seem upset, "counselor."

There was snow on my fucking porch last week.

Not my fault you're a fucking lying ass bastard.

It's springtime in So Cal. I wasn't even wearing long sleeves.

i figured we were due for an ice storm, because that's what happens around here. i was not expecting single digit temps and so much snow. i am just grateful that we haven't lost power yet, and that the water is still working. that makes me better off than half the state. stay warm out there!

I already posted the pic of snow on my Pierpont porch, Rapey. You know we've had a shitload of rain, wind, snow, and heat in the past few months. You know for a fact that I'm not lying - you live here and the data disagrees with you.

Texans are swapping tips on how to warm rooms using nothing more than tea lights and a terra cotta pot, and you're saying this is just another February?

lol

Texas
10 years ago, twenty years ago - 100 years ago.
It's gets cold - they are simply not prepared.
So is this Global Warming or a coming Ice Age?

Regardless, we are simply ants on the sidewalk.

My assumption is that the Texan Gregorian calendar has February repeating every year.

I was actually out on the water sailing when you say there was "snow" on your front porch. 65* with 10 knots of wind gusting to 15, unlimited visibility and a beautiful rolling swell making the downwind run feel totally flat and motionless. No "snow" no "rain" no "fog."

Gale warning on Friday morning because of the high winds, but no "snow" or "rain" that would fall as snow below 3000' despite the cold temperature overnight.
