My answer is yes, but I know like everyone does that he won't be. That's American politics for you.

After Hillary?

Absolutely the fuck not. :D

After his likely acquittal I hope he waves his dick at congress on his way out.

Yes, but he's already toast on this in the majority of voters' eyes. The multiple criminal cases on this are yet to get going good too. :)

This poll will have "No" winning comfortably when we all go to bed, then we'll wake up in the morning to learn "yes" has mysteriously won overnight.

Keith is delusional as ever.

That must be why the majority of (R)'s in congress are turning on him right?

LOL nope....they wouldn't dare, because they know better.

The populist right won the GOP, the establishment won the DNC.

The polarization will continue along those lines.

There have been several polls in the US that have shown that Trump has alienated many traditional Republican voters, but not all, or even a majority of them.

Several have left the party because they don't want to associate with the type to defend or excuse an insurrection against the government. I've talked to one or two that feel this way, but here's the kicker their politics haven't changed. They're not leaving the republican party to join the democrats. As soon a midterm elections come around, they'll be back in voting for the republicans that aided and abetted Trump supporters' Insurrection attempt. The alternative means voting for the hated liberals.

The polls didn't suggest that they would vote Democrat but that many might not vote at all.

I think and this is only my opinion, that many will wait to see what the Republicans vote in the Senate.

There are many Republican voters who are patriotic Americans, who are worried about their party now. What they might do? I don't know, but voting Democrat might be too far to go.

That would suggest he had the sack to show up in the first place.

or, more like.... there will be overwhelming majority of "Yes" (in favor of conviction) votes, but those who voted "no" will try to overturn the vote; claiming all those "Yes" votes really shouldn't really count, there was online poll fraud, etc- then after the thread is closed, they will storm the Literotica server and start threatening the forum admins.

Trump vindicated as should be!

That really wasn't vindication. His acquittal was fully expected. All it proves is that republican senators will vote for their own political fortunes rather than for the best interest of the country, as was their duty.

Quoted for truth. And now their party is split.
