Boy, if I had a Benjamin for every criminal with regrets after getting caught🤔

But, what caught my eye in this article is this....

"Through an analysis of court records and public documents, The Post found that almost 60% of those charged so far — for whom there is publicly available financial information — had experienced financial difficulties, including bankruptcies, foreclosures, unpaid taxes, and significant debt."

Hitler, among others, was also very good at scapegoating and identifying a group (The Jews) as the cause of all the economic chaos is Germany.

Humpty Dumpty was playing off the same techniques and tropes in identifying Blacks and Mexicans as well as Democrats and using it in the same scapegoating manner.

Yea, except the Jews weren't in charge and destroying the economy and peoples lives with unnecessary lockdowns for the sake of political theatre.

Kind of a major chunk of the false equivalency you left out there. :)

Getting back to the subject of the thread, this woman clearly was very foolish but, considering her immediate admission of guilt and stupidity I hope that she is treated leniently. She does not deserve to do time. A kick up the ass and some sort of good behavior bond/order will be sufficient.

The only time I see what he posts is when someone quotes him. So I guess I'll take this rare opportunity to comment on his post.

Destroy the economy with UNNECESSARY lockdowns? The problem with that statement is if they hadn't done the lockdowns, the 483,000+ dead we have now from Covid would be twice that many. But that doesn't really matter Huh? As long as the money keeps flowing who gives a fuck about lives.

And to be clear, Republicans were in control of the federal government, so you can't blame anything done by the Feds on the Dems. And the economy in Republican led states was just as bad as that in Democratic led states. So that argument is bullshit.

As far as Democrats and the economy in general, Democratic presidents have historically done much better stimulating the economy than Republican presidents have. The GDP has grown 1.6 times more under Dems than Repubs. Even the holy one, the one every Republican point's to when they talk about the economy Ronald Reagan is only #5 with four Democratic presidents doing much better than he did. And Trump? #12, dead last.

So yea, as it was it is, you're still full of shit.

In reality we didn't need the lockdowns.

We could have done all the sane precautions and let Suzy Q keep cutting hair and been none the worse.

In fact even the CDC said it was a last resort measure not to be used unless absolutely necessary.

We weren't even close....buncha hypochondriac Karens.
