Just a little selective outrage here! It's beyond hypocritical. Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, leaders of the authoritarian communist regime should be held to the same standards as Trump. If it weren't for double standards they would have no standards at all! It's beyond the pale the level of hypocrisy these swamp creatures live behind.

The worst possible thing that could happen to Trump if he was convicted (which he won’t be) is that he could be prohibited from running for President again. Real criminal convictions occur in a court of law. So the question is will Biden’s DOJ prosecute him? Don’t hold your breath.

He deserves to be punished for his role in fomenting the 1/6 insurrection. To neglect to do that in the name of "moving on" amounts to condoning the violence and thus increasing the likelihood that it'll happen again.

And the Republicans lost any right to complain about Congress neglecting to do its job when McConnell sat on literally hundreds of bills passed by the House in 2019-20.

Have you paid attention to what is actually going on? Do you realize that the impeachment trial will be held in the afternoons because they are staying busy in the mornings with things that need done, like confirmations to Biden's cabinet? I take it from your post that we should just ignore anything a sitting president does in the last days in office? Give them a free pass to do whatever they please? Is that limited to a Republican president, only the donald or would you say the same if a Democratic president took the same actions as the donald has? Choose wisely.
