Christopher Plummer dead at 91

Oh no, not Captain Von Trapp!!! He was my first and forever movie star crush and such a great man. This makes me sad.

The faux sadz in Rory's In Depth Obit "Breaking Wind" threads always make me laugh, so thanks!

i can't think of a movie with plummer that i've seen except 'the sound of..' i only saw that for the first time a few years ago and then under duress. it really was as awful as i'd imagined. i've heard they use that movie as torture (on a double feature with 'love story') at gitmo.

The hills aren't alive?

(Was that song about Julie's hills?)

My friend just reminded me of a few more films he was in.

Prolific, to say the least. :rose:

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye.

To me, he'll always be Klingon General Chang in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
