The Right to be a Republican in America 2021

Before Presidep Donald the First, Republicans took the oath of loyalty to
America, The People, and The Constitution - Racism and bigotry were optional.

A Republican had freedom of choice, and could side with Democrats, if they chose to.

Republican Senator John McCaine accepted the role of sacrificial goat, and sided with
Democrats. He was very ill, and soon to die. He saved his Republican party from taking
responsibity for creating and maintaining healthcare insurance. He was blamed for going
against the grain of what the Republican party had become- The Party of Opposition.

In reality the Opposition Party had plans that take too much time, too much energy,
to do any work for The People. (Presiderp discontinued his unreal promises to replace it.)

Senator John McCain was the last of the Potemkin Facade of Republican.

Real Republican, in reality, had died with Senator Edward Kennedy (D-MA) in 2009

Allowing a man that was only half White, and married to a Black woman, to campaign
as a presidential candidate, offended and angered the Racists and the Bigots.

(Republicans had kept Democrat women out of the Oval office chair, easily.)

The Opposition party responded by sending Presiderp Donald to enable their agenda.

Now, the Opposition party has been subverted by Presiderp Donald.

- Paul Kane

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), said in the days after the assault on the Capitol
he felt some optimism as McCarthy said Trump “bears responsibility” for
encouraging the rioting mob to attack Congress and target then-Vice President
Mike Pence.

McCarthy quickly backed away from that remark and on Thursday he praised
the ex-(presiderp) after a meeting at his Palm Beach resort.

Did House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). swear an oath of loyalty
to ex-Presiderp Donald ?

Most Republicans can be proud again now that Trump has gone. The ideals the Republican party used to stand for are still valid and supported by a large number of people.

The flip side of the billion dollar windfall bonanza for Texas energy producers
that happened at the expense of the people that lived through Snowpocalypse

"Economists estimate the total damage of winter storm Uri will exceed $100 billion dollars"

The storm revealed an uncomfortable power-play between GOP leaders in Austin
and their mostly Democratic counterparts in the state’s big cities.

Examples of local autonomy routinely run afoul of a governor who jealously guards his
prerogatives to override everything from plastic bag bans to mandatory mask orders.
But when the cities are in crisis, the sense is that it’s their problem to sort out, not his.

(Echo of Trump's voice- Trump left the state's governors on their own during the Pandemic,
and had stolen the supplies the states had paid for. Jared Kushner shouting that the National
Stockpile belongs to Trump & Family, and not the states that needed emergency supplies.
Only to find that Trump had sold anything that had value, did not stock the stockpile.)

Governor Greg Abbott made it clear that he would not impose regulation on business

Governor Greg Abbott had declared a kind of war on his (Texas) cities -

At first, he battled them over environmental laws like banning plastic grocery bags.
He fought with them over natural-gas fracking inside city limits.
Then came the pandemic. He refused to let them impose mask-wearing mandates.
Refused to shut down local economies or even limit restaurant services.
He excluded mayors from briefings on the pandemic.

(Gov. Abbot claimed to defend limited government while expanding state power
if it meant protecting business interests.)

Gov. Abbott didn’t even bother to call his big-city mayors (during 2021 disaster).

Gov. Abbott’s biggest threat, as he prepares to run for reelection in 2022 and possibly
the presidency in 2024, isn’t to his left but to his right. Florida transplant Allen West
chairs the Texas GOP and is even calling for secession.

Governor Greg Abott's challenge- become a weathervane, and be able to conform
to conflicting demands at a moment's notice-

He declares that he is a Republican, but does that mean anything ?
He has ambitions to become the president.
He might be able to wave goodbye to all of the little people, forever.
and dwell in the clouds above their heads.
Trump left 500,000 coronavirus dead, in his wake.
It means nothing to Trump.

June 22, 2020
“Texas Democrats warned Republican Governor Abbott that rushing back into the way
things were before the coronavirus without listening to medical professionals and scientists
would be deadly,” said Gilberto Hinojosa, Chair of the Texas Democratic Party. “Instead
the governor decided to listen to his fringe right-wing base over the advice of medical
experts.”

By quoting her, are you saying you're agreeing with the sentiment?

If so, please feel free to actually provide evidence that democrats seek communism or socialism as a replacement for capitalism... none of which, by the way, are in the Constitution...

What truly amazes me is the number of folks who ignore the simple fact that 62% of America's GDP is provided by 12 blue states yet they accuse democrats of wanting to completely change the economic fabric of America.

I think the point was, oh look, she's made another amazingly ignorant and outrageous comment. Looks like we're in for two years of this on a daily basis, too.

Most Republicans can be proud again now that Trump has gone. The ideals the Republican party used to stand for are still valid and supported by a large number of people.

LOL....why?? The vast majority of Republicans aren't Democrats. :D Hell Trump has been the first (R) the (R)'s have ACTUALLY been proud of in a long god damn time.

Some 80%+ of (R)'s are going to vote for him and Greene and all the other freedom and liberty oriented folks....the Liz Cheney's and Bush's are the fuck OUT.

The ideals the of the Republican party have not changed. We just finally started electing people who weren't about to sell them out to the equity pursuing folks with (D)'s next to their name.

By quoting her, are you saying you're agreeing with the sentiment?

If so, please feel free to actually provide evidence that democrats seek communism or socialism as a replacement for capitalism... none of which, by the way, are in the Constitution...

VP Harris made a video about why we should be communist....and communism is good.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4kowE_YIVw

Not too long after she advocated nationalizing HC insurance.

AOC and many other "progressives" are card carrying DSA members.

Most of the parties platform is about FEDERAL pursuit of social, economic and racial demographic equity....most (D)'s including yourself advocate doing so via collective (in our case federal government) control and or administration over the means of production and distribution of goods and services.

If you don't understand how that makes you and the other "progressives" socialist and communist, you need to go read up on what socialism and communism are. ;)

What truly amazes me is the number of folks who ignore the simple fact that 62% of America's GDP is provided by 12 blue states yet they accuse democrats of wanting to completely change the economic fabric of America.

Maybe it's because they say they want to "change" and "progress" the union into a more equitable (equal outcomes) place via centralized federal control and authority.

Not a single one of those 12 blue states (which are mostly if not all collapsing as they hemorrhage tax payers to red states) will institute their own no ID needed UHC plan....universal basic income....debt forgiveness and free everything for everyone..... 15/hr!!!

They only want to force these things federally on all 50 states.

Because they know if they don't and don't do it soon...... the blue states will all be Detroit. :D

Sorry, Ogg, but your statement has nothing to do with what is actually taking place within the Republican Party.

Right now, the CPAC meetings are taking place, the conference that allegedly represents conservative ideals in the U.S. None of the mainstream Republican leaders are attending, but they are trying to put your wishful spin on what is taking place at that conference. They are admitting that Trump has the captured the base of the Republican Party, but at the same time they continue to make the tired old claim that the base is attracted to Trump's policies, not his personality.

This is total denial. Watch what is actually taking place at CPAC. The Republican base is attracted to Trump's red meat statements, his promotion of conflict, his dog-whistle racism, his xenophobia, his rejection of inconvenient scientific facts, and his philosophy of material greed. These have become the policies of the Republican base, and the base actually gets passionately aroused by his caustic personality as he alludes to these policies.

Putin may have a special urge to engineer the disintergration
of the USA, but there are people in America that desire the
destruction of the current political landscape, just as much.

During my internet wanderings I happened upon this - KGOP

Once in a while, the mention of KGB has popped up, when Putin orders a murder
in the UK, or in Russia. "Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti"- translation given -
"Committee for State Security"

KGOP may not be entirely accurate, but it does promt an association.

Trump certainly trolled Democrats by using Putin's name and shouting for Russia.

The Ukraine scandal is locked around Trump's ankle like a security monitor device.
Former Republicans were "sneaky"crawling in and out of Russia on their own, long
before they converted into Trump Loyalists.
