In Florida the People vote to let convicts vote only to have their legislators decide what is “best” for the state. Convicts have to serve their time and pay their “fines” to vote! God Forbid someone pays their debt to society for them!!

Most can't. Only those on Temporary licences can So in effect almost all UK prisoners cannot but in devolved government and local government elections it is up to each level of government to decide for themselves. Most don't allow it.
