Hey. I've got a story idea for whoever is reading this post.

A good looking, innocent, but bored housewife cheats on her husband, caring husband with an overweight, tattooed, homeless ex convict.

She decides to volunteer in the local homeless shelter where she encounters this particular convict. He is super rude to the volunteers and is an asshole to them. All the other homeless guys are comparatively more respectful. The housewife is warned by other volunteers to stay clear of that particular fat ex con. He is aggressive and he blatantly ogles her. This, instead of angering her or infuriating her, actually draws her to him. One thing leads to another and he essentially succeeds in seducing her.

I saw CHL so long ago that I just don't recall but I wouldn't be surprised if the trope has been used in some prison film.

I have to admit, I find the initial blowback against this idea rather odd. It hits certain kinks I might enjoy exploring and nowhere in the initial concept does it say homeless or fat people with tattoos can't have enjoyable sex. Sounds like the characters would both be enjoying the sex quite a bit when it finally happens.

I do agree that the OP's response to Hypoxia's comment was pretty rude and dismissive. Even though it seems like they are new to the forums and doesn't get that the Story Ideas section tends to go off the rails, the response was extremely demanding and uncivil. So I can't say I blame the follow up responses, especially those from sirhugs and NebraskaFetish.

But, again, it's the initial rebuke of the idea that's a little odd to me.

In the SI forum, we throw out ideas for others to riff on. These are usually story setups without much in the way of development or denouement. Our responses can veer in many directions, mostly non-productive, sometimes viable. But any initial idea suggests parallels, so we respond accordingly.

I saw the OP's plausible unpleasant ex-con being bedded by an innocent & bored & cheating wife. What?!? Sorry, we can't have an innocent cheater. What's her backstory? I morphed that setup into the warden's-cynical-wife-fucks-prisoners trope. It's all about subverting power.

I'm with sirhugs on this. Also, I think innocent cheater isn't exactly what was being implied in the original post. The OP said she was a good looking, innocent housewife. I took this to mean that she hasn't strayed before and she hasn't had many partners (if any) other than her husband.

All of sirhugs suggestions can work within the context of the original concept. Obviously Hypoxia has prerogative to take suggestions in whatever direction they want, but you can absolutely create a backstory for the character following the idea originally put forth. Changing it to a warden's wife that fucks multiple prisoners completely changes the original idea. It's a completely new idea, and again, that's fine. That's almost what always happens in this forum.

I'm not trying to start an argument or pick a fight or whatever either. I know how this forum goes and people here like to just throw out ideas and change and twist stuff into something else. That's all fine. I'm just saying that you could absolutely create a full story from the original idea without drastically altering it.
