Do you take any? If so, what and why? Anything you feel is like, your holy grail?

I started taking turmeric about six months ago. It's supposed to help with inflammation. I'm not sure if it's done anything or not. I'm probably going to quit when I finish this bottle.

What HAS helped me is taking a probiotic. Whoa, Nelly! I have never been super regular before, but since starting this probiotic, literally, holy shit. LOL! 🤣

I also have a multi vitamin, although not every day. Maybe every other day.

Wellness nuts, inform me.

My daily regiment;

  • D3
  • One a Day
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Probiotic
  • Fish Oil
  • Bioton
  • Super B Complex

Love them all after years of experimenting with what works for me. And you're right about Probiotic

Vitamin D3
Zinc if I feel like a cold is coming on
B12 just started injections last week

I quit taking a multi-vitamin awhile back. Almost all of them have iron in them and because of my hemochromatosis, I can't abide the iron.

But I do take:
Vitamin D
Vitamin B
Tart Cherry extract
Fish Oil
glucosamine chondroitin
Horny Goat Weed

3 to 4 thousand units of vitamin c per day. it has worked miracles on my sinus. it also is supposed to have an antibiotic effect.

What does the tart cherry extract do?

Also - horny goatweed. Um. Does it, uh - work? Do men seriously need extra shit to make them horny? Because from my perspective, this sounds like a possible disaster waiting to happen !:D

I used to take Vitamin C because I thought I got none since I'm pathetically bad at eating fruit. But then I was informed that there's as much if not more of it in bell peppers and broccoli, of which I consume an ungodly amount.

A daily multi vitamin
Potassium and magnesium supplement
Vitamin C
That's about it.
Might need to try out that horny goat weed though.🤔

I shared a student house with medics at one time and their advice was that a balanced diet is what your body is designed for - any surplus vitamins get peed down the drain or create problems of their own.

Despite that, if I think I'm about to get a cold, I'll take echinacea as a supplement. I have enough garlic in my cooking to keep vampires away. If I take vit-C supplements I get the shits ( sorry but you asked ). I'll eat live yoghurt or take those probiotic caps if I have a bad tum and it works a treat.

TLDR I eat carrot cake for all my dietary supplements

You said you'd keep it quiet!
What are you gobbing on about now?
Are you doing the Berenstein diet? Or is it from the regular doc? How much and how often do you do them?

It’s from the doctor. I had some in depth blood work done and it was discovered that I have none. Or just about. (And I am not vegan)

Which would explain why I had pins and needles sensations and felt off balance.

I am injecting 1000 mcl’s once a week for four weeks. Then once a month for 6 months.
So far, I just feel less snappy. But, they did say it would take a good 4 weeks.

I take a shit ton of different B vitamins, including and extra slug of B-12. I had a pretty big seizure a couple years back and my neurologist was adamant that I started taking them. I don't know what, if any, difference it's made. Sure as hell don't want tooth sized holes in my tongue ever again, so I take them.

When I took a B complex formula, it made my pee bright highlighter yellow! Like, glow in the dark yellow. It was a shock!

Apparently, B does that.

If I were a man, I would take a ton of B supplements and go pee in the snow, fancy, neon yellow patterns and freak people out. :D

...but they still can't dot the i's

No blood?! Add some garlic supps and buy a silver crucifix

I'll send you some Marmite - rich in B's and great on toast
I am not a vampire yet. 😛
Hmmm Marmite. Unsure if I would like it.

That is scary.

I only fell going up the stairs because my balance was off. 🙄

i take a good multi vitamin along with extra D, because without it, i am deficient. i have hemp extract, magnesium and turmeric as needed. currently taking extra C, zinc and pepcid ac after a covid scare.

get your blood work done and talk to your doctor, before taking anything. i get my blood checked yearly and reassess my vitamins with my doctor. most stuff you'll piss out the extra (hence the bright yellow), but some vitamins, like zinc, you don't want to have too much built up in your system. they can cause more harm than good. they can also interact with other medications you're on. i don't take a garlic pill, but almost everything i cook with has extra garlic. your diet is the best and safest way to get the vitamins and minerals you need. tart cherry helps with inflammation, especially gout. pill form or juice is great, if that's an issue. the biggest thing that's helped me lately is adjusting my diet to remove inflammatory foods. prevention is worth a pound of cure.
