Remember the big announcement that Trump was going to make on Inauguration Day about the powerful future of his cult's movement? Well, that big announcement never came, and there was only his bowel movement as he shat upon his own cult followers.

The beauty of the second impeachment was that it put Trump in check on Pelosi's chess board. Now he can't continue to promote the idea that the election was stolen from him and he can't get others to do that for him, at least unless his goons in the Senate convince Schumer to drop the trial in the spirit of "lowering the temperature" or until the trial is over.

Pelosi has the bully cowering in the corner, whimpering, "I'll be nice! Don't convict me, please?"

The Senate should try him anyway... Biden should stay out of it, he was a private citizen. The charges from the House should be amended with Russian conspiracy, obstruction of justice, Ukrainian bribery and extortion, as well as the sedition charges promoting the riot on the Capital... I would like to hear all the truth about COVID as well. The new Senate should call every witness including all those who have received a pardon because if they subsequently perjure themselves, they'll be back in prison... and since they did receive a pardon, none of them can invoke 5th Amendment protection. Witnesses include all the former cabinet members... and all his children and their spouses... get all the evidence out on the table in front of all the American people...
If convicted... I believe he and his family loses their secret service details and federal pensions...
Then, if convicted, the house and senate could vote to annul his presidency... which would annul every piece of legislation he signed into law and would reverse all of his appointments... including the three fascists on the SCOTUS...

Any fascist who whines and cries about Biden's message of unity should remember 1) Biden has nothing to do with the Legislative branch holding fascist trump accountable... and 2) holding everyone accountable to the law is paramount... we can never have unity if we don't insist on holding everyone accountable to the law.

Both Pelosi and McConnell have an interest in letting the air out of Cult-45's tires. If Pelosi had not rapidly pushed through the impeachment process in the House, Trump would already be mouthing off about the future of his cult. This was a very smart move by Nancy.
