Pelosi’s alleged riot quote — "I just don’t know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country. Maybe there will be" — was said over two years ago about the Trump administration’s policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.

On June 14, 2018, Pelosi said that the National Association of Evangelicals told Congress that the U.S. refugee resettlement system was the "crown jewel of American humanitarianism."

"And in order to do away with that crown jewel, they're doing away with children being with their moms," she said. "I just don't even know why there aren't uprisings all over the country. And maybe there will be, when people realize that this is a policy that they defend."

Attempting to burn down a police station while police are still in it or attempting to burn down a federal courthouse, those institutions are all pillars of our democracy and those actions to destroy them should not be justified as social justice.

Who incited an insurrection at the Capital? With the intention of an assassination? Until the investigation is completed, statements taken, evidence evaluated and trials complete with sentencing we don't don't have a clue as to the true intentions of the individual violent protesters. A few agitators can whip up quite a frenzy and make criminals out of peaceful protestors. Mob or crowd psychology is a powerful tool used by anarchist. There's allegations trickling out that point to this violent protest was pre planned even before Trump's speech.

The attempt to associate and blame this violent outbreak on the republican party and millions of Trump supporters is a despicable ploy being used by Pelosi and her merry band of Trump haters. Calling for impeachment again is vindictive and divisive. And the left wing media continues to be complicit in the destruction of Donald Trump.

Since many of the vandals were right-wing counterprotesters, you are undoubtedly right that they didn't care about George Floyd.

Of course, this is all apples-to-oranges. While I don't endorse violence in our streets for any reason, it's still worth remembering that in one corner the outrage is over children in cages and often-fatal police brutality...and in the other corner, it's about a free and fair election whose outcome is not in any legitimate dispute.
