Donald J. Trump now holds the modern era record for the fewest number of net jobs created.

He becomes the only President since World War 2 to preside over a NET LOSS of jobs.

He gets a bit of a pass. Job growth numbers were fake news under Obama until the same growth numbers continued under trump, then they were real, so hey, he didn't fuck it up too much.

Most of the job losses this year were a result of directives by Governors restraining trade and freedom of movement. More were on advice of the CDC and other Government agencies. Not too many were a result of what would have been a normal economy without the interference.

I recognize your point as valid. I feel that Trump's incompetent handling of the Corona virus pandemic at the Federal level made a bad situation worse in America. A complete failure of leadership.
