Almost all of them looked like bums. Low-class, moronic bums. Some might say they were 'white trash.' And they'd be correct. When they interviewed them, this was confirmed. People whose family trees go straight up, from classy places like Arkansas.

I'd bet there wasn't one with a college degree. That's who Trump appeals to - uneducated morons who can't even see that he does not care about them at all.

This is a dangerous point of view to hold. Do not try to down play these people, their numbers, their funding or their organization. Plenty of educated people were there. Plenty are ardent QAnon followers. They are working very hard to draw in more people as well as working on getting people elected to all levels of government. I just don't think anymore that it's only about a mad Trump or a well-organised QAnon-type of organization trying to topple the government.

...all respectable people on the face of it. By its very definition, you don't need a majority for a coup. The worst thing we can do is assume they are a group of nutters we can dismiss as irrelevant - that is the line the Qanon types are deplorables are pushing, describing the crimes they're being charged with as 'misdemeanours'. I do think we may be witnessing birth of a new major religion here, out of QAnon and Trumpism as it's two prophets, mythical and exposed, martyr leader. And unlike small pyramid cults, it's truly spontaneous, elemental.
