Push hard to remove the insurrectionist from office. Make the Vice President and the Republican Senators reveal whether or not they will tolerate promotion of insurrection by a President.

Don't wait for 25th Amendment action. Start the impeachment simultaneously. There is no stipulation in the Constitution about minimum time requirement for impeachment. Then let the Senators vote on whether it is acceptable for a President to promote and incite insurrection.

Great article here about a little known method for destroying last minute regulations pushed through by lame-duck administrations: The Congressional Repeal Act (CRA).

Basically ANY Federal regulation enacted after a certain date (in this case, August 21, 2020) can be repealed by a simple majority of Congress with the President's signature. Vote must come to the floor, is specifically EXEMPT from the filibuster AND is specifically exempt from court challenges (the legislative branch is specifying that this repeal is the "will of the congress as part of it's duty to legislate) which ensures that it is Constitutionally exempt from Judicial activists.

President Obama used it once, Impeached President Trump used it 16 times.

They didn't expect to lose the Senate so the Republicans have enacted a shit-ton of regulatory measures in the past 3 months....every single one of these can be undone and there's not one fucking thing the Republicans can do about it.
