Thoughts?

Fuckers are going to make my phone not happy come Jan 1. I need a new phone. I have the Motorolla G4 currently. it. Seriously. It's an awesome little phone for me and I'm a bit irritated at having to replace it. But they didn't ask me what I think and 7.0 is as far as this phone goes.

That's a very good phone. I don't know why Moto insists on using older generation Snapdragon chips but they seem to work fine if you're not gaming or trying to do crazy shit.

The cameras a very good and I love the fact that Moto doesn't load their phones with a bunch of bloatware - their version of Android is awesome.

That's also a great price for that phone.

Done. Just made the purchase. It will be here - they say - by Dec 23. Same with the case and various length charging cords from Amazon. Convenient.

I've got that phone. It works well for what I need. The stylus is meh, if you're trying to do artsy stuff.

Or it could be that I just can't draw for shit.

Congrats on the new gear. I only like doing this once every two years. Switching phones is a chore, but feels good in the end. ;)

I just hope I like it as much as I like the G4. It's purple so that's cool. Not that that is a major feature but it beats black. My G4 is white. I kinda like that. It's the little things. :D

i have only purchased motos since the g4, i am currently on the g7

i love them but i am thinking of moving to the google pixel

I was debating between the G7 and the stylus. The stylus won because of the later release date and more internal storage.

I'm glad you posted though - you helped to confirm my decision. Thank you. :)

When I switched iPhones from the 5s to the 11Pro, it was fairly painless.

I'm thinking of getting 2 lines on GoogleFi and the Moto G power is probably what I'm getting for my business line. I'm tempted to get two as they are pretty affordable. $50 if you get them with Fi

And the Pixel 4a5g is the other one I'm considering. I do like the idea of android on a phone from the Android people.

also loved the cameras as well as the clean software experience.

Because of the software?

And, asking for a friend, do I want a clean software experience?

The appeal of the Pixel 'pure android' is that there's minimal BS and that allows the phone to run quicker and more efficiently as I understand it.

Never owned a Moto, I've been a OnePlus fanboi ever since the OPO, but as someone above said, that does look a lot of phone for the money.

thats one reason why i am leaning toward it

but the other is google pics, with the pixel they will still give you unlimited storage, with the other droids, there is now a limit

GoogleFi is the shit. My bills are as low as $22 per month with full everything. If your home and work are on WiFi, it's fucking awesome.

Pixel phones are always a good choice although can be a bit buggy.

That alone would encourage me to take a closer look. Thanks!

Yep, great phones for the buck.

OnePlus FTW!

There are other phones besides Apple???

Poor lil sheep lace.
