Please send Annie your best wishes as she is in the hospital. I'm afraid I don't have more information right now. All she said was that she's there and would I let you all know. When I find out more I'll let you know or, better yet, if she improves and goes home she'll tell you. :heart::rose::heart:

hang on in there, annie--you've a lot more poems to write :rose:

Hi poets. :heart:

I haven't been able to talk with Annie yet but I saw her posting on social media and, though she's still in hospital, she sounds good. She was raising hell about being ready to go home, which I think is a good sign! Hoping we see her here soon!

The embarrassing thing is I don't remember, only that I was in a dark place trying to get out! It seems I fell and my Husband couldn't get me up, so called the Paramedics who insisted they cut me out of my favourite dressing gown (Philistines!) and took me to hospital. I was kept in not because I fell but because my legs are in bad looking state, actually they look worse in one respect than the other and are bandaged every 3 days by my nurses. What they couldn't understand was me screaming in agony and though it was because of the state of my legs but gave me no painkillers beyond Paracetamol which I'm immune to anyway.
What I have that is so painful is inside the leg and is called Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy, this is sometimes so painful that I can't bear a sheet on my legs.,
Apparently some very high up doctors needed educating as to what the condition actually is and that I need constant dosages of Morphine at the right times. When the main doctor arrived I ripped him one, I told him I know how to manage my Pain Management so I am not screaming all night, nor am I being ignored all night by the nursing staff! Yes they did! I was screaming and crying in pain and not one of those nurse aa much as spoke to me, let alone tried to help me!!
I got my own back though I let it be known I was a writer and ALL of this was going into a book! My word they changed their ways immediately, even the really nasty ones!!

Welcome back from the inner circles of medical hell. Good to hear you've escaped from the madhouse.

Glad you're back Annie and still have your spirit. Another example of the pen is mightier than the sword or in this case scalpel (?)

Take care and stay safe.:cathappy::cathappy::cathappy:

Odd there are no dogs in the emojis otherwise I'd have used a dog wagging its tail somehow :cattail: ain't the same.

Now my husband has been taken into hospital for the same reason!! We're taking it in turns! But he'll be looked after in there and made to do what they want him to, which he won't for me! Then I and my carers can concentrate on looking after me.

Damn if it weren't for bad luck ....................

Best wishes that he'll be on the mend and back home soon.
