The Trump administration withheld additional contact information that could help reunite separated families—and a federal judge is demanding to know why. Last week, the federal government turned over additional data as part of efforts to find the deported parents of hundreds of children who remain without their moms and dads after being separated at the southern border beginning in 2017.

But advocates tasked with reunification efforts said the administration had been sitting on that data and disclosed it only after new attention was drawn to its inhumane policy. The judge in litigation around the case is now demanding an explanation from officials. “This is disturbing in that it seems to be readily available information and it was a matter of tapping into it,” Judge Dana Sabraw said according to Courthouse News Service (CNS).

Simple really.....

To cause maximum pain and suffering for the families as a deterrent to others.

SAD!!!

Do unto others as you would have unto you

Any of these fuckers with kids should lose their kids

Odds are they are all old fuckers

Take a fucking HAND! That’s what’s Trump’s Arab buddies would do
Or.., chop them up entirely!! No one is above the law
Fuck them Up!! But don’t waste a doing it!! That’s the North Korean Tough Guy Way!!

The judge ain't too quick on the uptake.

Judges can't do anything until/unless a case is brought to them. They can't go out looking for rulings to make (other than write articles, like Barr did, to get the AG job, which he probably now regrets doing).

They kept the information under wraps, for a year. Knowing that coronavirus
was killing undocumented immigrants in the privately- owned, money making
prisons. The investors enjoyed profits made from blood money and human misery.

That wasn't my point.

OK, what was your point? I missed it. (Probably my fault, but your assertion didn't specify why. Are you saying the judge had a case to consider for some time and that it was the judge who sat on it?)

more a case of the judge wanting it stated publicly for the record, i'd have thought. evidence (of perjury or irresponsible dereliction of duty), for future cases against those responsible), truth or lie, committed to court records. :)

I'm saying that everyone knows why 45 does what he does to brown people.

I wasn't going deep into the legal aspect.
