Ossoff, Warnock campaign with Dem Rep who called Jews ‘termites’

...and Rightguide posts ANOTHER new thread, and still....

...nobody gives a shit.

Dmitri should really get a new hobby.

Johnson apologised for those comments years ago - something I couldn't imagine Trump doing in my wildest imagination.

Hank is a piece of work who avoids islands. They might tip over. Just add Marines.

And do those ideas go away? Do they just learn to hide them?
It is always assumed that a Democrat is the former.
It is always assumed that a Republican is the latter.
I think both sides have their share of ignorant haters.
(D) Hank is one of them. A pig with lipstick.

Why is it that when a Democrat apologizes, the issue is dead, but for a Republican, no apology is ever sufficient, because you "know" what they mean, feel and think?

And after he’s gone, we can vilify everyone who attends his funeral.

.
The guy isn't very good with analogies and metaphors, but he was spot on with the rationale behind his comments.

The comment about Israeli settlements is actually fairly apt. I see nothing anti-Semitic in the statement. Israel's large settlement structures even resemble termite mounds in some respects, and once termite mounds are constructed they're quite difficult to remove. If Israel wasn't behaving like an invasive species there would be no reason to make such a comparison.

Territorial creep is a real thing when it comes to Israel's expansion into Palestinian lands.

1. More often than not, there is no apology on the Republican's part.
2. The reason why we know what they mean is that they tend to go on saying the same thing over and over again, even if they phrase it more carefully. You don't get to just point to an earlier apology if you don't stop the offending behaviour.

And the issue isn't always dead when a Democrat apologises. Ask Al Franken.
