just watched some trumplicans being interviewed on the street, outside their homes and stuff... homes still displaying trump flags and signage:

it was quite sad, painful even, to see these people in absolute confusion over reality smacking their faces. most were still in total denial and couldn;t understand how this was happening. most still believed trump could turn things around and remain their president. some were just completely bemused with the way votes were cast, counted, verified and how could their leader lose? in all, they were really quite bewildered... some still staunchly hopeful, not giving in to reality, others just hoping and praying.

despite everything, which means they're really the kind of person whose sympathies clash horribly with mine, i can't help but feel something for their plight. of course most deserve it, but so many were simply gullible enough to be fooled by the showboating con artist and just don't know what to do with themselves at this point in time. any person in that state, in that emotional turmoil, earns a little pity.

BUT

that's on a generalised level, and comes NOWHERE past the surface of the REAL suffering of so many at the hands of people just like this, who voted for the sort of administration that would seek to roll back any advances in equality, recognition, cruelty, hate, climate, protections for health in clean air and water, even basic affordable health care!
