Uhhh nobody....nobody goes to federal prison on a pot possession charge. Feds don't waste resources prosecuting misdemeanors. Shit they don't even bother with minor or moderate pot felonies. If the feds are after you? You done fucked up biggy.

And the Feds can decriminalize but the states can and will still prohibit and throw folks in prison ALL DAY LONG for it.

Hell even counties in some states, yessir alcohol prohibition is still alive n the US, there are a few remaining dry counties ya best not get caught with a bottle in.

US Federal government =/= State government.

This will do NOTHING for the vast majority of US prisons, which are controlled by the states, not the feds.
