What are you fuckers reading now?

i'm reading 'black dahlia, red rose' a 2017 rehash of the black dahlia murder that promises 'new, never revealed details'.

The Taking of Annie Thorn by C J Tudor. Read three of her books during lockdown and all gripping.

Most of CJ Box novels, all of Lee Child's including his latest November 22nd release "Sentinel".

Pretty good so far!

I loved it. I just finished her second one, "Solutions and Other Problems".

The most perfect depiction of clinical depression I've ever seen. My first bout of depression was in college, and now my teen daughter is going through the same thing. My wife read the first "depression" chapter in this book and said, "oh, now I get it."

Reading "Ready Player Two" and it's a hard read. I liked the first book but this one..... It's like Cline was under pressure to write a sequel but had absolutely no clue as to a plot; so he just copied the plot from the first book and made it bigger.

There could have been so much better plot points, like Halliday isn't dead, or Art3mis leaves Wade and he tries to get her back, or expand on Sorrento's story and his sister, or Wade's account gets hacked and the big red button gets pushed..... but nope.... another scavenger hunt contest....... sigh

Exactly.

Little Women - somehow I never have.
Feminists don't wear Pink - a set of essays, some good some meh
The mountain between us - crap, didn't finish
The Butcher - Alina Reyes. Managed to find another copy and it is fantastic.

Lori, have you read The Midnight Library?

My cousin requested it for Xmas, so I hear it's good. Matt Haig writes in a variety of genres I think
