I was wondering if someone could help me out. I received a message from a company (name of the company in the title field) who said they were looking for content writers for their adult games. I was just wondering if anyone else had received a similar message. If so, is the company legit?

Since I think you deserve a real response to this reasonable question, all I can say is that ive never heard of them, and that authors here often get seemingly dubious solicitations. I tend to use the rule of thumb that if my first instinct is that something is off, I go with that instinct.

But, if there is other stuff in the email you can verify, then it wouldn't hurt to spend whatever small amount of time you want to look that up. In the year or so that ive been posting here, I can't think of a single author who reported success from one of these unsolicited messages.

Start with thinking about what you want for your efforts and, if it exposes the real you to strangers (as in a means to obtain payment), is that going to be fine with you? I didn't get into any of this for remuneration until how I'd figure out how to get the remuneration through cutouts that didn't lead back to me.
