I think I'm taking a break until maybe after the first of the year. I get tuned out to all the BF and related sales spiels. Then they talk about shipping problems and delays. I'm not sure there's anything I really need until then.

I'm spending like a drunken sailor on leave, because I suspect that our growing national deficit will ultimately lead to a devaluation of the dollar.

Trying to invest in tools of value, as usual.

A little pick me up here and there. I do set limits on myself, but it's nice to buy little treats. I like body oils and skincare items, especially rose scented. I love lipstick, but I realize it's pretty worthless during this pandemic. We all gotta treat ourselves and practice self-care.

Done bought everything I need for the rest of the year. Haven't noticed shipping delays in what I've been buying to be ready for Christmas. Anyone impatient with today's moving of products should have been living in Burma forty years ago.

I want to buy one of those dog beds that dogs can furrow in but apparently three dog beds is two too many already.

In my defense, she has outgrown her first one. And she should have one that just stays in the office. So three dog beds it is.....

i'm buying shit. i like presents, especially when they come from me to me.

In the past several years, I've pretty much avoided buying anything on these made up retail marketing days. Black this, cyber that, green whatever. Generally, the prices really aren't all that much different than other sales throughout the year.

Gift cards.
I never buy presents anymore.
I just find out where they like to shop and how much I want to spend on them.

True.

OTOH, if I'm going to buy something, I'd rather pay the reduced price instead of the "normal" price they use for those 3 days in between the ongoing and almost never ending "sale price".

I am pretty much done.

Lots of traffic and parking lots are nuts. Seeing it’s not a holiday here, Canadians seemed to have adopted Black Friday.

I buy stuff when I need or want it. The Hollandaze are just a time to eat, drink and be merry.

hey ...

I'm waiting to see if Big Brotha gonna stimulate us again.

I went to 5 stores on Wednesday looking for 60D r.s. nails, a soldering gun replacement tip and (2) 60 drawer small parts cabinets. All I ended up buying was $50 worth of gas for the car. :)
