Do you have any argument for that or is this just another wealth envy "it's not fair!!" cry session??

.
Which came first; the chicken or the egg???

I saw a chart on FB yesterday that claimed there were eggs a long time before there were chickens. I'm glad to know that's been cleared up. (Like the one about how to hang toilet paper was cleared up by going back to the original patent.)

See BoBo Derp. Derp, BoBo, Derp!

Do you have any argument for that or is this just another wealth envy "it's not fair!!" cry session??

You mean a random dictionary definition by itself is not prima facie "proof" of his argument?

Doesn't that, like, negate your entire existence on this board, since you've spent your whole Lit life spewing context-free random dictionary definitions as "proof" of you alleged "superior argument"?

Or are you saying you reserve the specific right to do that?

No, this isn't an argument over what a word means but if being a billionaire is moral or not.

Only when the argument was over the meaning of words...LOL

Rob, another leftist clearly infuriated over the fact that words mean things.

Or are you saying you reserve the specific right to do that?

Use the dictionary to embarrass people either deceptively or ignorantly abusing words?

Nope...anyone can do that! :)

So where do you stand on the topic Rob? Is having a billion bucks immoral??

BND didn't ask for argument sake; he made a statement! "It is immoral to be a billionaire"!

Indeed and I challenge that statement.

I argue that the morality of the wealth id dependent upon how that wealth was generated/accrued.

I don't see anything immoral about Jeff Beezos having billions.

The guy made and built what is arguably the greatest digital marketplace there is improving and enriching the lives of millions.

Kim Jong-Un and his 5 billion?? Not so much....

Most sane people would agree, but YOU’RE dealing with progressive thinking, you shouldn’t be able to make money and keep it, should be redistributed to the less wealthy because that’s the right thing to do.

The individual isn't necessarily immoral. It's the system that allows it that is immoral.

Given our recent discussion that sounds a bit like a jab at me. :)

So if it is, please be clear I’m not infuriated over your myopic words mean things tactic. I’m more fascinated at your overall debate style.

If not...eh, have a nice evening.

I would have no objections to billionaires if the poorer elements of society had a living wage ,education and healthcare .

.
Is a billionaire immoral; or is this system that allowed the billionaire to be created immoral???

You can make it you just can’t hoard it. unnecessarily

Exactly. The hoarding of wealth by a handful oligarchs is detrimental to the general welfare of all the citizens who actually do all the work.

But just as a general principle the hoarding of anything by a few is detrimental to the population as whole. Be it natural resources, education, health care, housing, access to communication, transportation, etc.

The notion that some should hoard more than they will ever need while others needlessly suffer without is completely absurd.

Yea.....if I want to jab at you I'll quote you directly and say it.

You have a great one.
