McSally lost in Arizona despite launching the most intense Orwellian Newspeak advertising campaign in the history of the state. According to her ads, she was a champion of access to healthcare, and her opponent would shut down hospitals, turn over all personal decisions about healthcare to the government, and increase personal Federal income taxes on all mothers in the state.

It was not uncommon for her to run three of these ads in a single commercial break on local TV stations. These ads paralleled Trump ads making claims of even greater hyperbole.

You would have to live here in order to understand the degree to which Trump and McSally assumed the stupidity and gullibility of the citizens of this state. They not only humiliated Arizona's two prior Republican Senators, but insulted the intelligence of every citizen.

Arizona will now have two Democrat Senators.
