however, as we all know by now, a negative test isn't necessarily the same as being clear of covid and a large indoors gathering is just not a good idea. why this couldn't have been done outdoors, i don't know.

As much as they bitched and moaned about it, the "no interruptions" rule has been greatly to Trump's benefit. Forcing him to dial back a personality that most Americans are sick of can only help him.
