My first post so be gentle.

I have sexsomnia, for anyone who doesn't know. It means being sexually active during sleep. I do tend to wake up half way through. Which has been a surprise to both parties involved .

Just wondering...
Has anyone got this or been with a partner that has this?

I've had girlfriends who liked it and some that hated it. It is entirely out of my control that, however I would think most people would enjoy being woken up with a someone doing the business down below.

Any thoughts? How'd you'd react? Weird?

I always warn my partners I sleep molest. I was diagnosed with narcolepsy two years ago. I have sleep paralysis and hypnogogic hallucinations. Basically, my dreams and waking reality sometimes merge together.

Ha. Yes I have this too. “Sleep molest” is a good way to put it and i have warned partners too. Its kind of like a waking dream, right? Like you’re mostly asleep but kind of aware too. Its very hard to explain.

Most women have been ok with it and it would usually turn into full-on sex (at which point i was mostly awake). However, Id fall back asleep right after and forget about it in the morning until my partner would mention it and Id be like “oh yeah!” However, my current gf doesnt appreciate it as she treasures her sleep. If I start sleep molesting her, she will start beating me off and telling me to stop at which point I “wake up” and am confused as to why she is making a fuss like “what? Whats going on?
