anyone else suddenly had their regular voting placed moved miles away?

H&family moved here about 60 years ago, and for most of that time have been casting their ballots at the exact same place, built new soon after they arrived. it's at the bottom of out driveway and serves a rural area.

today, local voters received notice that they could no longer vote there but would have to go to a church around 7 miles away. no reason the regular place can't do it.

while it's no great hardship for him to drive 7 miles, I wonder how many other 'local' voting places have been consolidated to this one spot meaning problems for some just to get there, more people congregating to vote, longer lines and wait times which aren't good for elderly voters (even without a goddamned pandemic!) or for those in a hurry to get their votes in during a trip to work or on a lunch break.
