So....to me it's become clear that the USA has some major structural issues.
1) All but a few states are too small both in resources and population to be totally autonomous.
2) The USA as a whole, is too fucking BIG, culturally, politically, economically and geographically to be governed under 1 set of rules without being ugly about it.
I've seen a few other posters and heard several talking heads talking about this very issue. Many of them talking about everything form states leaving and civil war to breaking up the USA, to just restructuring it to allow more autonomous governance of various regions.
What do you think about it??
Let's say you're the person with the "Civilized divorce over irreconcilable differences" plan that the super majority supports to avoid a bloody conflict.
What does your plan to restructure/reform the USA to keep it from self destructing look like???
