Or you could use a lot of similar ideas for the U.S. version, though in Canada, we do it a bit differently- our holiday is the Monday, not a Thursday, so three day weekend, not four, and most people celebrate on Sunday. If you want religious themes, most churches have special harvest related themed services.

First, you need to decide whether to ignore COVID. If you don't, travel themes are good. If you do, something about sadness over missing absent friends or fammily workks. Also Zoom sex (we have a thread).

Students arriving home creates themes. The "turkey dump" breaking up with the high school sweetheart is a tradition. Apparently "forever" when one person goes away to school is less than six weeks. Breakup sex or rebound sex anybody?

Incest variations abound.

A very mature version could involve inviting the elderly neighbour to share the meal.

The cornfield maze likely opens, for spooky themes.

With the pandemic, I think there is going to be less family get together. But that kind of opens up more potential for more intimate and sexy fun.

- Two couples decide on just them getting together. A little wine. Flirting. Then go from there.

- My wife and I are a hotwife couple. I would be open to her boyfriend joining us for the long eeekend.

- The Wife has a new co worker. He’s alone for the holiday. She ends up inviting him to thanksgiving dinner at their house. Then one thing leads to another...

...and there is always the lonely student, the only one left in the dorm, who needs an invite...

I always like the innocent set up... a woman placed into an otherwise innocent situation that just so happens to create opportunity and temptation for some naughtiness. It wasn't her plan to misbehave... she just couldn't resist.

So... it would definitely be the nice, considerate thing to do to invite over some poor guy who can't make it home for Thanksgiving so he doesn't have to spend the holiday all alone. And, if the wine gets flowing, it might not be safe to drive home, so, he should probably just stay the night.

And, if travel is still restricted a month later, an invite for Christmas dinner would work too. And... maybe it's family tradition to open a couple presents the night before? And maybe you make sure your wife picks the present with the sexy nighty in it. She blushes when she opens it in front of the guest. She blushes more when she holds it up and see his reaction. She blushes more when the husband insists she try it on...

Is there a Thanksgiving family tradition that could become sexually charged with a house guest present? I suppose listing what you're thankful for could get a little flirtatious....

a slightly more advanced variation on the "invite" story lines:

Local student A has a classmate e from far away who isn't going home, so his/her parents invite that person (B) to the family meal.

A insists that they have no sexual/dating interest in B . After a couple of glasses of holiday cheer too many, one or both parents decide to put it t a test, and seduce B right in front of A.

What could possibly go wrong?

Yes!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone...

It’s one less day in 2020. I hope when you celebrate Thanksgiving 2021 it’s a better time..

watch what you wish for. In 2019, I said 2020 would be a better year...

Set it in 2019 if you don’t want to have to deal with COVID. Late 2021(or later: like if set in 2023) might work too but I recommend 2019.
