House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., plans to introduce legislation Friday that would create a "Commission on Presidential Capacity," which would be involved in presidential transfer of power procedures under the 25th Amendment.

The legislation would create the commission "to help ensure effective and uninterrupted leadership in the highest office in the Executive Branch of government," Pelosi's office said in a news release.

Nancy Pelosi, the US House speaker, has warned that Donald Trump is suffering from “disassociation from reality” and said Congress will on Friday discuss the constitutional potential to remove him from office.

In a zigzagging interview on the Fox Business channel on Thursday, his first since being hospitalised, Trump, 74, boasted: “I’m back because I am a perfect physical specimen and I’m extremely young. And so I’m lucky in that way.”

Trump “is, shall we say, in an altered state right now” and “the disassociation from reality would be funny if it weren’t so deadly,” the 80-year-old speaker added while wearing a mask.
In a surprise move, Pelosi revealed that Democrats will meet on Friday to discuss the 25th amendment to the constitution, which contains a clause that allows a president to be removed from office against his will because of physical or mental incapacity.

He’s “extremely young” and “I'm a senior. … Nobody knows that.”

This is not the time.
It absolutely is the time. Pence will never sign it but calling attention to Trump's physical and mental fitness is completely appropriate.

You seem .... bored.

what power does she have to inflict her "ideology" on your fragile person?

Her vile political attempt at derailing Trump’s campaign, peddling lies to cover up her own criminal violations supported by Obama’s corrupt DOJ in an attempt to convict Trump on trumped up charges goes on to this day.

It's not Constitutional. The Constitution spells out who is supposed to make that decision and it's not the Speaker of the House and her pet panel of partisans.

BTW, does anyone believe Trump would sign such a piece of shit bill? And if he vetoes it, does Paleosi believe she has the votes to override a Presidential veto?

This is even assuming Mitch lets it go to the floor in the Senate.

The whole thing is Nancy pissing in her diapers again as Trump scare tactic talking point #17 is regurgitated.

Just like impeaching him was appropriate. History will look back and say at least one branch of the government was trying

That branch also failed to convict, history won’t shine positively on the Dems house, they’ll be looked upon as Nancy’s ninnies or maybe the gang that couldn’t shoot straight. :D:rolleyes:;)

Totally appropriate considering how unhinged he has become since leaving the hospital.

Drugs are fun. Maybe he needs a few hits of medical marijuana to simmer down. I’d suggest a high thc the level to begin with. Like immediately. :)

Derpy thinks he knows more about the Constitution than a woman <-- keyword who has been fighting for the Consitution her whole career.

Seems stupid and an act of desperation.

Stupid because it has no chance of going anywhere. Pure political grandstanding.

Desperate because if all the polls are right and the democrats are confident he’s going to lose why go through this. Biden appears to be in good shape to win. This just seems like it with further solidify Trump’s base and perhaps turn some undecided voters that are fed up with the constant bickering from both sides.

Nancy playing politics, but only the people suffering from Trumpaphobia (Democrat politicians and their followers) give a shit.

SEND IT...it's something to make her useful.
